We are the Calaveras Youth Organization, founders of the Calaveras SAVE Campaign and now the Support MUSIC Calaveras Campaign.  We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education in all school districts in Calaveras County. and raising awareness about the importance of music as a part of each child’s complete education.  In February 2015, CUSD announced to us that Music Education was no longer on the “cut list”.  Our SAVE Campaign, while well short of the financial goal, created enough AWARENESS and SUPPORT from YOU, to help change the minds of the powers that be.

We have changed gears and have now moved to the SUPPORT MUSIC CALAVERAS Campaign.  This campaign is being created to help generate funds to support MUSIC EDUCATION in all Calaveras County Schools in Bret Harte, Calaveras, Mark Twain, Vallecito and Mountain Oaks School Districts.  We are also campaigning to SUPPORT music performances for all of the community of Calaveras County.
